Install Mapstore

What this article helps you do

Install Mapstore on your Shopify store. Then open the app. Use the setup guide to add stores, add the map block, and change its appearance.

Before you start

• You are a Shopify store owner or staff member with app installation rights.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Install Mapstore from the Shopify App Store

1. Go to the Mapstore page in the Shopify App Store.
2. Start the installation.
3. Complete the instructions from Shopify.

2. Open Mapstore from your Shopify admin

After the installation, open Mapstore from Apps in your Shopify admin. Mapstore shows the home page and setup guide.

3. Complete the setup guide steps

The setup guide has five steps:

1. Email notifications - Add other recipients for lead submissions, completed exports, and import or integration warnings.
2. Add stores - Add your first store manually or use bulk upload (CSV).
3. Add the map to your theme - Use the button to open the theme editor. The map block is ready to add.
4. Customize style and text - Adjust map colors and labels to match your brand.
5. Configure lead forms (optional) - Enable lead capture for store contact.

Use the control in each step to open the applicable page. The controls include Add first store, Bulk upload stores, and Add to theme.

How to verify it worked

1. Open Mapstore from Apps.
2. Make sure that you do not see an error.
3. Make sure that you can see the setup guide on the home page.
4. Add a store.
5. Add the map block to a page.
