Find stores in Mapstore

Use search, status filters, and sort options to find stores in the Mapstore dashboard. These controls help you manage a specified set of stores.

Before you start

• Mapstore is installed.
• The Stores list has stores.
• You have access to the Mapstore admin.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Use search to find stores by name, address, or note

• Go to Stores in Mapstore.
• Use the search box to enter a store name, city, words from an address, or internal note.
• The list updates to show only matching stores.

2. Filter the store list

• Select All, Active, Draft, Geocoded, Not geocoded, Pinned, or Unpinned.
• Use status filters to find live stores.
• Use geocoding filters to find locations that do not have coordinates.
• Use pin filters to review featured stores.

3. Show or hide sheet-managed stores

• Use the Show/Hide synced stores control to include or exclude stores managed by Google Sheets.
• The Stores table shows the source for each row.

4. Sort the list

• Sort by Updated (newest first), Updated (oldest first), Name (A-Z), or Name (Z-A).
• Use these options to put stores in the necessary order.

5. Use filters with search

• You can use search with status filters and synced-store visibility.
• For example, show only active synced stores that have “Downtown” in the name.

How to verify it worked

1. Search for a store name.
2. Make sure that the list shows only matching results.
3. Change the status filter.
4. Make sure that the list shows the selected status.
5. Change the sort order.
6. Make sure that you can see stores in the new order.
