Understand Mapstore pages and navigation

Understand the main Mapstore admin pages and what you use each one for.

Before you start

• Mapstore is installed
• You have opened Mapstore from Shopify admin

Step-by-step instructions

1. Home (dashboard)

The home page shows the setup guide and shortcuts. Use it to add stores, add the map to your theme, customize style and text, and set up lead forms.

2. Stores

• Stores - View, add, edit, and delete store locations. Create stores manually or manage them after import.
• Bulk - Import stores from a CSV file or CSV URL, or connect Google Sheets for ongoing sync. Choose between File and URL modes for CSV import.

3. Custom fields

Define custom fields (e.g. “Parking”, “Wi-Fi”) that you can add to stores and show on the store locator.

4. Insights

View analytics: searches, filters used, store clicks, and related metrics. Use this to understand how shoppers use your store locator.

5. Lead generation

Configure lead forms for store contact. Shoppers submit forms from the map; you receive the submissions by email.

6. Settings

Manage app settings, integrations, and notifications.

7. Plans (if available)

If billing is enabled, manage your subscription and plan from here.

How to verify it worked

• You can navigate between Home, Stores, Custom fields, Insights, Lead generation, and Settings.
• The main nav shows links to these sections.
• Bulk import is available under Stores -> Bulk.
