Export insights data as CSV/ZIP
What this article helps you do
Export your Mapstore analytics data (search stats, filter usage, store clicks, and totals) as a CSV file in a ZIP attachment, sent to your email.
Before you start
- Mapstore is installed and you have an Insights page
- Your shop email is set and able to receive attachments
- Optional: add extra notification emails in Settings if you want multiple recipients
Step-by-step instructions
- In Mapstore, go to Insights.
- (Optional) Set a date range in Insights for on-screen analysis.
- Click Download all data.
- Confirm that a toast message says the export is scheduled.
- Wait for the email. The ZIP file usually arrives within a few minutes.
The CSV inside the ZIP contains columns: date, name, value, and count. The export includes your available insights data (subject to retention, typically recent history).
How to verify it worked
- Check your inbox (and any notification emails) for an email from Mapstore.
- Open the attachment. It will be a
.zipfile containing a.csv. - Open the CSV in a spreadsheet app - you should see rows with date, metric name, value, and count.
Common issues and fixes
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| ”Could not schedule analytics export” | Try again; if it persists, check your internet and email settings. |
| Email never arrives | Check spam/junk and confirm the shop email is correct. Add a notification email in Settings if needed. |
| Empty or partial export | Ensure you have data in Insights for the chosen date range. |
| File too large for email | Contact support if you have very large datasets. |
